The hotel's location was peaceful, just next door to Sun Voyager and Harpa, the main shopping street, and Good to walk into Reykjavik. I booked big size queen room here with double bed, well equipped kitchen, for example. The staff were both very amiable and affable.

The unit we got was new-fashioned with the bunk bed. The staff were affable and very amiable. The location was quiet, not too far from Laugarasbio.

It has perfect, peaceful setting, short walk to iceland for second time, restaurants and a nearby 10-11 grocery, and half the communal areas. Reykjavik East district definitely deserves exploring.

The rooms are a nice size and perfect with 3 suitcases, and the location is nice hard to read the map to get downtown. There is a central heating and an ironing set - that's always a plus.

The private room at Laekur Guesthouse was incredibly comfortable and clean. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, as it exceeded my expectations for a budget accommodation. The bathroom was nice, and the kitchen and living space were a great addition. Despite the small room size, it was perfectly fine for our needs. Additionally, the location was convenient as it was only a short walk to the city center and close to the beach for sunset views. I would highly recommend Laekur Guesthouse for an affordable and comfortable stay.

Had very nice stay on vacation, the staff were HELPFUL, location was strategic close to downtown. It was new-fashioned, spacious and with double bed. Central heating and an ironing set were useful. Location: the hotel was very close to especially the ocean, the Golden Circle and a quiet local residential area.

The facility was well-equipped with modern amenities, including a dishwasher and a washer and dryer, which made our stay more convenient. The guesthouse had a chic and stylish decor, reminiscent of an IKEA replica. The location was also quite convenient, with a 24-hour convenience store right across the street, providing easy access to any essentials we needed.
The guesthouse was quite far from the city center, requiring a 25-30 minute walk or a bus ride to reach the main attractions. This made it a bit inconvenient for exploring the city, especially during our romantic escape.

The location was absolutely perfect and the free parking was nearby. And it was also right by the ocean, city centre, and a shop.

As longer term business travelers, we loved the spacious rooms, well-supplied kitchen, and top-notch facilities, including a washing machine and dryer. The bathrooms were squeaky clean, and there were free foods upon arrival. The staff efficiently maintained the guesthouse.
Felt like home, with nothing being too much trouble.
